I’ve spent much of my career helping people navigate complicated financial decisions.

Along the way, I’ve come to believe that good advice isn’t about having the most sophisticated strategy. It’s about understanding the person behind the numbers.

That’s the thinking behind Sage Money Advice.

What Experience Has Taught Me

What Experience Has Taught Me

For more than two decades, I’ve worked with individuals, families, and business owners facing some pretty complex financial, estate, and business decisions. And I’ve learned a few things along the way.

I’ve seen smart people make expensive mistakes. I’ve seen unnecessary complexity create confusion rather than clarity. And I’ve learned that more sophisticated doesn’t always mean better. More often than not, simpler works.

Those experiences, combined with years of advanced education, have shaped how I think about money. Having more money isn’t the goal. Having more of the life you want is.

For me, that means time with family, meaningful experiences, and the freedom to focus on what matters most. Your priorities may look different. They should. It’s your life, after all.

Good financial planning starts with understanding what matters to you and helping you make decisions that support it.

Experience Matters. So Does Perspective.

My background includes advanced financial, estate, business, tax, and insurance planning.

I’m a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, hold a Master of Science in Financial Services (MSFS), and am an Enrolled Agent (EA), authorized to represent taxpayers before the IRS.

That combination of experience and education helps me see how financial decisions affect one another, rather than looking at each in isolation.

But credentials only tell part of the story. Good planning also requires curiosity, sound judgment, and knowing when to listen.
